Are you a student looking for a summer job? If you want to start your own business around an interest or skill but are unsure where to start, then look no further! The Summer Company program can teach all of that and more. Be able to work in this capacity while learning what it takes when running one's own company from start-to finish with plenty of support along every step.

Are you a student looking to start a summer business? The Niagara Falls Small Business Enterprise Centre is a provider of the Government of Ontario’s Summer Company Program. This is a great chance to develop your entrepreneurial skills and make money at the same time. If you are between 15 and 29 years of age and going back to school in the fall you can be eligible to receive hands-on mentoring AND up to $3,000 towards your business! Who is eligible
You could be eligible, if you:
- Go to high school, college or university
- Live in Ontario
- Are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Are between 15-29 years old (if under 18: a parent or guardian must sign the agreement for the applicant)
- Are not already running a business
- Are not working at another job or going to school for more than 12 hours a week during the program
- Are returning to school after the program ends
How to Apply:
The application deadline for Summer Company 2023 is May 15, 2022.

- Complete the eligibility checklist and click “Check My Eligibility”
- Once completed, if you qualify, you will be asked if you want to apply. If you say yes, you will be taken to the application page
- After the application is completed and submitted, you will be contacted by your local program provider (Niagara Falls Small Business Centre)
